Ideation workshops are intended for entrepreneurs in early stage project development with the goal of building the pre-requisite requirements for Creative Lab Hawaii Immersive programs or other relevant accelerators.
WHAT:
For 2020 Creative Lab Hawaii’s (CLH) Ideation Weekends will be conducted virtually and are designed for individuals who have an idea, concept, a fully developed story, script or other creative content (a book, a play, a pitch, etc.) who are interested in taking the next steps toward getting their property developed, produced, sold or distributed across multiple platforms (motion pictures, television, games, web-series, publishing, etc.).
Here are the rosters for this year’s focus topics, to include: Acting, Indigenous Storytelling, Theater, VR/AR, and Micro-budget Motion Picture Directing.
WHY:
This is a hands-on weekend workshop, and not designed for fans. The CLH Weekend Ideations are intensive, curated, two day bootcamps designed for 30 creative entrepreneurs who are dedicated to furthering their craft.
These workshops are limited to the first 30 people who are selected from the RSVP and have successfully completed our questionnaire. You must commit to both days in order to participate.

WHAT:
Creative Lab Hawaii (CLH) – Animation Ideation Weekend is designed for individuals who have an outline, treatment, fully fleshed out story, or pre-existing intellectual property (a book, a play, a pitch, etc…) and are interested in learning more about what next steps they should take in order to develop it, write it, produce it, distribute it as animated content.
WHY:
This is a hands-on weekend workshop, and not designed for fans. Once we receive your RSVP, you will be sent a questionnaire to fill out for us in order to help us design the weekend workshop based on the needs of the participants. Both steps must be completed in order to be considered for this program.

WHAT:
Creative Lab Hawaii (CLH) – Ideation Weekend Program on Financing – Oahu – is designed for individuals who have a low budget or micro-budget motion picture project and are interested in learning more about what next steps they should take in order to get it financed and distributed.
WHY:
This is a hands-on weekend workshop, and not designed for fans.
Individuals who RSVP to this program will receive a questionnaire to fill out for us in order to help us design the workshop based on the needs of the participants.
Questionnaires will be sent via email beginning February 13, 2017, and must be returned to us no later than March 3, 2017. Your responses will be reviewed, then you will receive an email confirming or declining your participation.
